another 'THE' coat.
oh la laaaaa....falling in love again with this quiet coat...... the daring off white, or the schoolgirl blue, its sharp fit and retro feel, the details and slightly military strict point of view. ....hmmm.
oh, and something completely different, has anyone heard about the 'Revolution'? I mean the new Silky Mat Idole foundation from Lancôme?
Have a nice Sunday everyone!

The Marinière reinterpreted
You know how Marinières are everywhere again since last summer. And preferably with a little sequins on any kind of adornment. Here is my (old) contribution to the movement :
a cardigan from Target (couple of seasons ago) and a silky cutout I had first stitched on a tank top...
Done soooooo long ago and not showed yet (shame on me)...as you can see, it is even ready to be fixed...yes, the inner fabric part shows now. And a little ironing would be welcomed too... We'll say it is too match the rough style of the stiching....
And YES I like it like that. After all, we're from the 'Smells like teen spirit generation'. :-)

Rock that weekend
For those of your who are not familiar with Houston, Texas, winter means a bright sun and crisp light, spring starts around February and right along with spring comes the RODEO!!!
So start getting those boots out y'all and rock that end of January.
This weekend ahead I'm not quite diving into country mode yet, but rather pure classic rock and roll. And I have the perfect brooch for that. Thanks to Réré (again!!!).
Love to wear it from time to time on my belt and get those hips rolling...
I Like!!!!
Looks fab on the white belt.
By the way, what did you think of PR?

I knit, you knit...
..he, she knits.
everybody knits but me.
you knit.
they knit....for me.
"they" = my mum in general or Reg with brio or even little hands/machines somewhere far overseas. I have personally given up ever hoping to do something that involves yarn, needles and my hands. But am super happy to leave to professionals.
Two examples : This supacute headband I have found this afternoon at Charming Charlie's. It's acryl and maybe a tad over prized but, I like it. and wanted to reward a good idea.
If you're interested in the pattern (which I don't have...), I can make a more detailed sketch of the headband with measurements for anyone to reproduce...THAT I can do...
First of all, love the headband. I want one. NOW!
Second, you're too kind. I can't knit to save my life. All I can knit are squares. Also I cannot take the credit for the ring. It's not my design, I shamefully copied it because it happened to be in the shape of a ...square.
hahaaaa. love our winner attitude in here....
nevertheless, I like squares.

Possibly the best foundation ever...
I have been on a quest for the perfect foundation for a while now, and I think I might just have found it. I've tried them all: Mac, Chanel, Clinique, Bare Minerals, you name it. I recently was most disappointed with Studio Fix Fluid which broke me out and made me look like a little grease ball.
And the other day at my local Monop I came across this, the Holy Grail. At first I was put off by the fact that it comes out of the tube a strange white colour but as soon as you apply it, it turns into foundation. It's easy to apply, gives a flawless finish, not too matte, not too glowy. It blends right into the skin and lasts all day. And all this for 15 euros. Perfect!
Even better than my Clarins you mean? izit possibol? gotta try it asap...
and will have to reshuffle my whole week schedule immediately...
Thanks Reg!
